The two players clashed in the first half at Old Trafford as Anthony Martial’s strike with nine minutes remaining secured three points for Jose Mourinho’s side.
According to Manchester Evening News, Alli told Young, who turned 32 in July, that he should ‘retire with a zimmer frame’ during the heated argument on the pitch.
The report also claims that Young responded to the Tottenham midfielder by saying: ‘Let me know when you win the Prem.’
After the match, Young fired another dig at Alli with a post on Twitter which read: ‘Great team spirit. Very good result. Talk is cheap.’
Young is in his seventh season at United after being signed by Sir Alex Ferguson from Aston Villa for a fee in the region of £16 million in 2011.
Young, who is being used as a left-back by Jose Mourinho this season, won the Premier League title with United in 2013.
