The four-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored just once in the Spanish top flight in seven games.
The 32-year-old had scored five goals in as many games at this point last season.
Similarly, Karim Benzema has struggled in front of goal with just two goals in 11 games in all competitions.
Instead it was Casemiro, Marco Asensio and Isco providing the goals for Real in the win over Las Palmas.
And it was a much needed three points after defeats to Getafe in the league and Tottenham in the Champions League this past week.
But Real captain Sergio Ramos admits Ronaldo is unhappy with his current league form, however he remains confident his goal drought will soon end.
"Cristiano and Karim's goals will come in. Karim is more generous in that sense," Ramos said.
But we do not worry that they have scored few goals because they make a difference and what matters is winning, and the goals will come."
Ronaldo will have a chance to end his poor form in front of goal in La Liga when they make their first trip to the Wanda Metropolitano after the international break to face rivals Atletico Madrid on November 18.
