Manchester City defeated Arsenal 3-1 in the Premier League on Sunday to stretch their current club record even further.
Kevin de Bruyne gave the Blues a first-half lead as they asserted their dominance over fifth placed Arsenal.
Sergio Aguero added a second-half penalty after Raheem Sterling was fouled in the box.
Arsenal had been given a lifeline when Alexander Lacazette made it 2-1 before Gabriel Jesus added a controversial third despite protests over an offside in the build-up.
The win saw the Blues enter the second international break of the season without tasting defeat in any competition this season.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was furious with the decisions made by the officials during his sides defeat.
Guardiola played down their impact saying after the match, "The penalty was a penalty, the offside was offside. But we won because we were better."
