Manchester United forward wants to follow in Ronaldo’s footsteps to join Real Madrid

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has reportedly set his sights on pursuing a move to Real Madrid further down the line. The 20-year-old made his first-team debut for United in February 2016, and he has since become a regular in the first-team.
According to El Bernabeu, the England international has plans of joining the European champions in the future as he looks to emulate Cristiano Ronaldo. The young attacker is also a fan of the Brazilian Ronaldo, and he recently revealed that watching videos of the former Los Blancos man changed his game.
Rashford has already achieved good success at United having won the FA Cup, EFL Cup and the Europa League in the space of just 20 months. He accumulated over 50 appearances during the previous campaign, and he has continued to remain a valuable member this term while commanding a regular spot on the left side of the attack.
The youngster is currently contracted until the summer of 2020, and talks over a potential exit look far-fetched considering the shrewd relationship between both sides. A delayed submission of paperwork denied Real Madrid the chance to pursue David de Gea back in the summer of 2015, and Los Blancos have since played their part in blocking Alvaro Morata’s move to Old Trafford earlier this year.
