Steven Gerrard’s newborn son may not be able to kick a football yet - but’s he’s certainly got the gear.
Lio, who was born in April, can be seen sporting the Reds’ kit on Stevie G’ s Instagram page.
The former Liverpool captain posted three adorable photos of his six-month-year-old son - revealing the cute toddler has adopted his No. 8 shirt.
But given Gerrard currently coaches Liverpool FC’s U19 team he may have to wait a while to teach his son what’s needed to lift a Champions League trophy.
Lio, who is Gerrard’s fourth child, was born on April 29.
Many jumped to the conclusion that young Lio was named after Barcelona’s silky-skilled Lionel Messi.
One Instagram user commented on the photo: “Where’s the captain’s armband?”
While another quipped: “Lace some boots up for him stick him in the starting line up for the weekend.”
