Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is eyeing a loan deal to Inter Milan amid fears he could miss out on a spot in England's squad for the World Cup.
The 28-year-old frontman has offered his services to the Italian giants in an attempt to to prove both his fitness and form to Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate, according to Tuttosport.
Sturridge has fallen out of favour in Jurgen Klopp's squad, with Liverpool's so-called Fab Four firing on all cylinders this season.
It is thought Sturridge could slot in seamlessly at Juliano Spalletti's side – who have no real alternative to first-choice striker Mauro Icardi.
The Englishman's ability to play up front and out on both flanks is understood to be of interest to the Inter boss.
And the Italian outlet claim Sturridge — who has scored three goals in just 14 appearances in all competitions this term — has sounded out the club over a temporary six-month deal at the San Siro.
