Former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is likely to leave Europe when his Atletico Madrid contract expires this summer.

Torres has plied his trade in Europe for all of his career, but his agency has suggested that a move to either North America or the Far East could be on the cards.
Antonio Sanz — who is director of communication at Bahia Internacional, the agency to which Torres is signed — told Marca on Tuesday: 'There is no team yet. But we do have ideas. One option is what you said (the United States) and another (China).'
Torres has featured in 20 La Liga games for Atletico this season, but has started in just three of those appearances.

Atletico were Torres's first club and it looks like they could also be his last in Europe.
Torres helped Atletico win the Segunda Division in 2002 but the majority of his success — in terms of team honours — at club level came at Chelsea, with whom he won the FA Cup, Champions League and Europa League between 2012 and 2013.
He also conquered Europe at international level, winning Euro 2008 and Euro 2012 with Spain, either side of a World Cup triumph at South Africa 2010.
