According to a report from the Sun, Liverpool have asked Juventus about the possibility of bringing Sami Khedira to Anfield this summer.
Emre Can is almost certainly set to leave Merseyside this summer, with the Sun claiming that the German is on the verge of signing a five-year deal with the Italian giants.
Jürgen Klopp will obviously have to find a replacement for the 24-year-old if he does eventually leave Liverpool, and the Sun claims that he has identified Khedira as a primary summer transfer target.
The 31-year-old German also recently shared his desire to one day play in the Premier League, when speaking to Sport Bild:
"I'm not thinking about my future right now, but one day I would like to win the Premier League. I only have one year left on my contract here and will be 32 next year."
