Sir Alex Ferguson 'asks for Doncaster Rovers result in first words following emergency brain surgery'

Sir Alex Ferguson's first words after emergency brain surgery were reportedly on Doncaster Rovers' result.
The legendary Manchester United manager was rushed to hospital after suffering from a brain haemorrhage.
He underwent emergency surgery and is now believed to be showing early signs of recovery.
It was revealed on Tuesday that he was now out of a coma and talking to his family, who have remained with him in hospital.
Son Darren missed Doncaster's clash with Wigan to be with his father, which Rovers lost 1-0.
He is said to have asked his family: "So, how did Doncaster get on?”
Ferguson is also said to have joked about attending the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid in Kiev later this month.
A statement from United read: "Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone emergency surgery for a brain haemorrhage.
"The procedure has gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to optimise his recovery. His family request privacy in this matter."
The club later added: "We will keep Sir Alex and his loved ones in our thoughts during this time, and we are united in our wish to see him make a comfortable, speedy recovery."
