Cristiano Ronaldo Jr shows he has inherited skills by scoring two excellent goals (video)

His father might be a revered five-time Ballon d'Or winner renowned as one of the greatest footballers of this or indeed any generation, but Cristiano Ronaldo Jr proved he also has no shortage of skills in his locker as he enjoyed a kickabout with dad following Portugal's win over Algeria in Lisbon on Thursday night.

Ronaldo was all smiles as his first-born son, seven, showed that he looks to have inherited some of that talent as he netted a brilliant strike into the top corner and also notched an acrobatic volley as both sets of players departed the pitch at the Estadio Da Luz.
The Real Madrid star may even have learned a thing or two from Ronaldo Jr, having earlier failed to execute a similarly ambitious - some might say Gareth Bale-esque- effort - during the match.
Portugal had previously drawn both of their World Cup warm-up friendlies against Tunisia and Belgium without their star man, but enjoyed a comfortable evening's work against Algeria as he returned for their final outing before heading to Russia.
Ronaldo, who joined up with the squad at their training camp in Cascais on Monday after being handed a break in the aftermath of Real's third successive Champions League triumph, saw an early effort ruled out for offside.
However, Goncalo Guedes made a strong claim for a regular place in the European champions' starting XI as he opened the scoring in the 17th minute following good work from William Carvalho and Manchester City's Bernardo Silva.
The Paris Saint-Germain winger, who impressed on loan at Valencia last term, doubled his tally after the interval when he headed home Raphael Guerreiro's cross.
That came after Ronaldo had turned provider for Sporting CP midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who scored his maiden international goal.
