Pochettino put pen to paper on a new five-year contract at Tottenham last month, but that hasn’t stopped reports linking him with the vacancy at Real Madrid.
The European champions are in the market for a new head coach after the surprise departure of Zinedine Zidane.
Former Spurs midfielder Anderton reckons Pochettino will stay at the north London club to see them move into their new 62,000-capacity stadium, which should be ready before the start of the coming season.
However, should Tottenham decide to sell any of their key players, Pochettino could be tempted to jump ship.
It will be very tough for Pochettino to turn down Real Madrid, but I don’t think he will make the move this summer,” Anderton told Bwin.
“Pochettino is all about the long-term and he is building something special at Tottenham, especially with the new stadium coming and youngsters getting a lot of game time.
