Last weekend, in the 4-1 defeat at Man City, Alli was at the centre of two incidents.
He was accused of stamping on Fernandinho while he also stomped on Kevin De Bruyne’s ankle.
Alli again had two problematic moments in the first half against Burnley.
Within the opening few minutes of the game, Dele Alli put in a shocking challenge on Burnley’s Charlie Taylor.
Dele went to ground way too early and could well have received a red card from referee Michael Oliver.
The Spurs midfielder was only booked after four minutes and then significantly impacted the game three minutes later.
Alli went down in the box from a challenge by Kevin Long and Spurs had a penalty.
On another day, Dele could have received a second booking for diving after seven minutes.
