According to The MirrorWest Ham United scouts watched Reading take on Cardiff City on Monday night as they plot a move for defender Liam Moore.
Reading took a 2-0 lead at Madejski Stadium, as Callum Paterson's own goal and a strike from Modou Barrow had the Royals in front – but Joe Bennett and Lee Tomlin struck in the final 10 minutes to hand Cardiff a share of the spoils.

The Mirror report that West Ham sent scouts to Berkshire in order to watch centre back Liam Moore in action, ahead of a possible January bid from David Moyes' side.
Moore, 24, came up through the ranks with Leicester City, and was touted for stardom before somewhat falling away from the limelight, and was sold to Reading in the summer of 2016.
Moore played a key role last season as Reading reached the Championship play-off final, and has continued to flourish under Stam this season in the heart of the Royals defence.

The former England Under-21 international is now attracting interest ahead of the January transfer window, with West Ham understood to be keen as they pursue a younger centre back to challenge the likes of Winston Reid, Angelo Ogbonna, Jose Fonte and James Collins.
It's noted that Celtic are also keen, but West Ham and manager Moyes may now be plotting a January bid for Moore in a bid to inject some youth to their back four.
