Real Madrid ready to ask ex-Tottenham star to give up number for Harry Kane

Harry Kane of Spurs (r) celebrates with Dele Ali after scoring the fourth goal and his second of the game during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at Wembley...

Real are reportedly ready to offer Harry Kane his favoured number 10 shirt, and will ask Luka Modric to give it up.
Modric only assumed the shirt this season after James Rodriguez was loaned to Bayern Munich. Previously it was worn by Mesut Ozil.
Former Spurs star Modric is ready to consider his future at the club at the end of the season, having joined Real in 2012 from the North London club.

Real went onto raid Spurs for Wales international Gareth Bale a year later.
Kane would potentially cost Real Madrid a world record fee, but he would likely double or even treble his wages with a move to Spain.
Tottenham have extra reason to keep Kane put next season as they will be moving into their new stadium.
