Everton striker is a target for Italian giants

Everton forward Henry Onyekuru has been disclosed as a target for Italian outfit AC Milan, having impressed the Serie A side while out on loan at Anderlecht, according to Newsmondo.

The forward signed for the Toffees last summer but was immediately loaned back to Belgium while he awaits a work permit to be able to ply his trade in England.
The 20-year-old still hasn’t made an appearance for Everton, but he is due to return back to Merseyside at the end of the season, however this latest development has left fans wondering if the player Ronald Koeman paid a reported £7 million for will ever represent the club.
There is a chance that the forward could go back to Anderlecht for yet another loan spell after he hit double figures for them in the ongoing campaign, while AC Milan could make a move if they decide to up their interest in the striker.
The Nigeria international has been out injured since December, which may well put an end to his chances of representing his country at the World Cup this summer, and may also have his future in question.
While AC Milan could step up their interest in the forward, it remains to be seen whether Everton would sell a player they put a lot of effort into signing less than a year ago.
That said, much has changed at Goodison Park since then. Koeman, who signed him, has now left and Sam Allardyce, his replacement, has brought in his own man to lead the line in Cenk Tosun.
With the Turkey international, Wayne Rooney, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Oumar Niasse, the Toffees are not short of forwards, so if the Italian giants are serious about signing the forward there is a chance that Onyekuru could come and go from Everton without ever pulling on the blue shirt in a competitive fixture.
