AS Roma are close to completing a deal to sign AFC Ajax forward Justin Kluivert having agreed an 18m euro fee with the Eredivisie club, according to Sky Italia.
The Italian club have beaten off competition from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, who have both shown an interest in the Dutch forward.
Deal close
Since speaking out over the way Ajax attempted to sell him to Tottenham last summer, it was clear that Kluivert would depart the Johan Cruijff Arena this summer.
The forward has just one-year remaining on his current deal and has been unable to agree to a new contract, forcing Ajax to offload the player this summer.
Roma have taken advantage of the situation and have completed another shrewd piece of business.
